Faith came to Sunnydale in Season 3 of Buffy. She was the new slayer that had been called after Kendra's death. Despite their differences Buffy and Faith worked together until Faith accidentally killed a human and things took a turn for the worse. She joined the evil mayor and brought chaos to Buffy's life. She also tried to kill Angel and to take away his soul. In the end Buffy and her had a fight and Faith fell into a coma. She came back, however, and went to Los Angeles where Wolfram and Hart hired her to kill Angel. First she kidnapped Wesley and tortured him to get Angel's attention, but then it turned out that Faith actually wanted the vampire to kill her. Which he didn't, of course. He instead helped her deal with her guilt and she finally turned herself in to the police. Faith is currently in prison and I can't wait for her to come back this season :o)
